The Beginning.
Greetings! I am a world-building enthusiast with a special place in my heart for visual arts and writing. My current largest project is Sooted Star, which is available in novel form, accompanied by concept art. It warms my heart to speculate whether we not only imagine other realities, but beings in other realities also imagine ours.
The Quandary.
It has never been enough to simply imagine other worlds and the lives inhabiting them. I had to somehow manifest them into this world. Make them empathize with us. Make us empathize with them.
So, I started the lifelong project of no longer being powerless to execute the worlds I imagined. I wanted to stir people emotionally through my writings and artwork and bring out that empathy.
An Ode to Teachers.
Wonderful teachers who believed in me and my vision have brought me to where I am today.
The arts teaching organization ArtSeed laid the foundation for my fundamental skills in visual arts and their intersections with other academic disciplines and artistic forms. Over a decade later, I have guided younger and more vulnerable citizens to build their own worlds with their visual, written, and critical thinking skills.
My university years rewarded me with a Bachelor’s in Emerging Media and Digital Arts. Soon after, I completed commissions for personal and commercial use. My logos for ArtSeed’s Art-a-Thon fundraiser event and G.Rabbit Cafe in the San Francisco Federal Building are used to this day. Some of my illustrations have been used for Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, v-tubers, or simply good old enjoyment.
My Place in the Universe
You may find me typing away at my novel or sketching in vibrant city niches. You may also catch me displaying my work at cafes and artist co-ops like SyZyGy. If people ask, I am happy to take up a commission or two at a time.
